We are excited to announce that Wild has joined Unilever.

We started Wild five years ago with a simple mission: to remove as much single-use plastic from personal care routines as possible. Thanks to your support, to date we've diverted over 750,000 kg of single-use plastic and planted over 1.2 million trees.

To make an even bigger impact, we knew we had to take sustainable bathroom products mainstream. As a small company, it’s really hard to make a big splash on our own and by leveraging Unilever’s global network and capabilities, we can reach more people than ever before, making sustainable personal care more accessible.

We will gain access to the support, expertise, and guidance that Unilever provides to help bring sustainable personal care into the mainstream. This means access to cutting-edge research and development to create the best new products and to improve what we already offer. With this partnership, sustainable options like Wild can become available to everyone. It’s a huge step forward for us and for sustainable personal care.

Rest assured, nothing about our core values, mission, or brand will change! Our formulas will stay just as you love them, with the best premium ingredients that you’ve heard of and that are good for your skin and we’ll remain 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and B-Corp certified.

Our commitment to sustainability will only enhance as we’ll now be able to invest in cutting-edge technologies that will help reduce our environmental impact even further. We’re more excited than ever to continue pushing the boundaries of sustainability and make a real difference. This is a big step towards making sustainable products more accessible for all.

We’re excited to announce that Wild has joined Unilever. Joining Unilever is a huge step towards that goal; with their support we’ll be able to put our foot on the accelerator, to reach more people than ever before, and to speed up our mission to remove more single-use plastic from bathrooms around the world.

Will there be any change to your formulations?

Our formulations are staying just the way you love them; packed with premium ingredients that you’ve heard of and that are good for your skin! We will continue to try and always improve on the products we offer to make sure we maintain the highest quality standards in the industry.

Will there be any change to your sustainability commitments?

Our commitment to sustainability is at the heart of everything we do, and that’s not going to change. In fact, with Unilever’s support, we’ll be able to invest in even more cutting-edge technologies to reduce our carbon footprint and environmental impact more than we ever could alone. We want to bring you new products and new ways to remove single-use plastic from your personal care routines and we’re more motivated than ever to push the boundaries of what’s possible.

Will you remain a B Corp?

Yes! We’ll proudly remain a certified B Corp. For us, business is all about creating positive change, and we’ll continue to meet the high standards that come with being a B Corp. Nothing about that changes.

Will you remain vegan and cruelty-free?

Absolutely. We never test our products or ingredients on animals and use 100% vegan ingredients in our products. We will continue to remain vegan-certified by the Vegan Society and cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny.

How will this change affect Wild’s social impact initiatives, like your work with charitable organisations or your local community efforts?

We will continue to support charities and local communities as part of our commitment to creating positive change. As we have done for the last 5 years, we’ll keep planting trees with On A Mission (we’re on over 1 million!) and have a year-long partnership with LGBTQIA+ homelessness charity ‘akt’. The team is fully on board with this mission, and a lot of us are doing the Three Peaks Challenge in June to raise money for our chosen charities!

Our mission to reduce single-use plastic in the bathroom has gone up a gear and we’re bringing you new products, even better formulations, and more ways to make sustainability accessible to everyone. It's the same passionate team, in the same place, delivering the same solutions for a single-use plastic-free future and we couldn't be more excited about what we can now achieve with the backing of Unilever. Why has it taken you so long to confirm?

There was some market speculation before the deal was finalised and we were unable to comment until everything was officially confirmed. We're excited to now share the news and look forward to the next chapter.
