Wild Impact Report 2023
๐ฉโ๐ค Faye Jawad
The last year has been a total whirlwind for us at Wild. We launched our body wash range, as well as brand new lip balms, and we came up with even more limited edition scents. New Wild fans are popping up all around the world, spreading the Wild word further than ever before. And weโre now in more and more high street shops up and down the land.
And with all that, our impact is growing. So we wanted to let you know what that means, and how weโre managing it โ as well as where weโd like to take things. Here goes.
In 2023 we estimate that - by customers switching to Wild โ we have stopped over 351,000kg plastic from hitting landfill.

We became B Corp Certified with 110.8 points!

Our products diverted 351,000+ kg of plastic from potentially entering landfill
๐ณ
We have offset 24,509 tCO2; equivalent to 445,900+ trees

We switched 7 out of 13 UK D2C packaging SKUs to Recycled Board
Over the year we switched over half of our postal packaging to recycled card and weโre thrilled to say that for the first time we became a certified B Corp organisation, the gold standard for sustainable businesses.
Last year, we made a whole lot of progress in our products and packaging โ leading the way to reduce bathroom waste. After years of experimentation, we finally launched a bamboo bottle capable of holding liquid, perfect for our body wash refills. We changed the design of our deodorant cases to reduce plastic and aluminium usage. And we tweaked the shape of our deo refills to make sure that there was no wasted deodorant left in the bottom โ from big changes to small wins it all counts!
Our impact also extends to our team. Each year Wild team members devote two volunteering days to a cause that matters to them, as well as two team-wide volunteering activities. Whatโs more, in the last 12 months we have launched limited edition deodorant cases in partnership with Coppafeel and ManUp, both important charities which weโre proud to support.
So whatโs next?
Well, we have big plans for the year ahead. Weโre aiming to establish even stronger ingredients traceability and to make sure that 60% of our packaging is from recycled sources. Weโre also doing further research into the emissions created in the whole life cycle of our products, from start to end, in order to further reduce these even further.

Measure our baseline and set up tracking across Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions

Keep your eyes peeled throughout 2024 to see how Wildโs impact grows over the next year.
