Lip skin is a little thinner and produces no sweat or sebum. So it is far more likely to dry out than other areas of your body. We’ve blended a mixture of natural waxes (including sunflower seed wax, Japanese tree wax, candelilla and rice bran waxes) to lock in moisture, whilst keeping things entirely vegan.
Environmental factors can really punish your lips. From sun damage (lips have lower melanin levels, for starters) to temperature changes, this area faces a lot of challenges. And most importantly, lips are always moving, putting the skin under strain. So a blend of oils including olive oil & coconut oil to help keep your skin supple.
Extra protection is provided by naturally soothing shea butter, which sets your lips up for the day, locks in all that lovely moisture and reduces any inflammation. It is enriched with antioxidants including vitamin A and E, nourishing your skin. Oh, and it smells almost good enough to eat. Or kiss, at least.

Our SPF formula shields lips from sunburn with SPF 25 protection by providing defense against UVB exposure. Avoid excessive sun exposure, even while using sun protection. Reapply frequently, especially after eating, perspiring, swimming, or towel drying.
Yes. Our Lip Balm does not contain beeswax and is packed full of gentle ingredients from plants. As with all Wild products, it's vegan and cruelty-free, complete with Vegan Society approval!

Simply, take the lid off the case; carefully remove the lid from the lip balm refill. Then place the lip balm refill inside the case. Twist the case down and you are ready to go! If you need more information, please follow this instruction video here.
Our refills contain 4.5g of Lip Balm and we would estimate this to last a person roughly 1 month. We find that most people use it daily, and re-apply a couple of times throughout the day, whenever their lips start to feel a bit dry. However, use it whenever you like, everyone is different!
As for the shelf life, it will last up to 12 months! We recommend storing it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
