Our Diversity and
Inclusion Report

We celebrate the team and share our efforts to promote diversity and inclusivity in the workplace.

It's down to the people

Working at Wild is seriously fun

We’re a great bunch, hailing from all around the world. Our workplace is full of different languages, cultures and experiences and that’s an amazing thing to be part of.

We have lots of Wild women

Eighty percent of our team identify as female

Twenty percent identify as male. It’s pretty amazing to see so many women’s voices given a platform at Wild – but we know there’s work to do to get more male and non-binary colleagues in.

Our team is full of youthful energy.

Close to two thirds of our team are 26-34, with almost a third at 18-25.

However, we’d love to see colleagues outside of these age brackets joining Wild – primarily for their range of experiences, which we can all learn from (but also to improve the pub quiz team).

Ethnicity is an area we need to improve in.

Diversifying our team in terms of ethnicity is a clear priority and we actively encourage applicants from underrepresented backgrounds.

Disability

6% of our team live with a disability.

We strongly encourage anyone with a disability to consider working at Wild, especially as our offices are well equipped to deal with physical disabilities (feel free to come and have a look if you'd like to see for yourself).

Language

A third of our team speak English as a second language, which puts all our English speakers (who struggled with the French GCSE) to shame.

Nearly half of our team was born outside the UK, bringing real cultural diversity to our office.

Education

Almost all our colleagues have a university degree, and around a third of them have a postgraduate degree.

We actively seek to recruit colleagues from other educational backgrounds and work with partners to achieve this.

How we're improving diversity in our workplace

  • 🏒

    Internships

Alongside youth employment organisation Goodwords we provide training and opportunities for those who face barriers entering work.

  • 🀫

    Anonymised hiring process

Using a recruitment platform, applications are fully anonymous until interview stage to combat unconscious bias.

  • πŸ§‘β€πŸ«

    Team training

We’ve committed to mandatory unconscious bias/inclusionary hiring training for all colleagues.
