What is an antiperspirant?

Simply put, antiperspirant is designed to stop sweat from reaching your skin. It traps and neutralises sweat before it can become smelly – keeping you fresh but also keeping you dry. There are lots of different kinds of antiperspirant (including sprays and creams) but ours is a roll on, with a gel antiperspirant formula that works for 72hrs.

How does antiperspirant deodorant work?

Most antiperspirants contain gentle and safe active ingredients that help stop sweat. They react with your sweat glands, stopping you from becoming damp or smelly. Our antiperspirant has a form of aluminium salt that is effective in small amounts, so there’s loads of room in the formula for lovely natural ingredients that your skin will love.

How to apply antiperspirant.

Simply roll on your antiperspirant – a couple of swipes to each pit will do! Most people do it straight after a shower, as washing will remove your odour protection. All the usual good advice applies: don’t apply to broken or just-shaved skin, allow your pits to dry before you put on a t-shirt, apply at night to dry skin.

Antiperspirants for sensitive skin

Our Antiperspirant is approved by dermatologists – and the lightweight and nourishing formula is designed to be kind to your skin. We didn’t create a separate Antiperspirant for our sensitive skin folks because this one is so gentle!

What’s the difference between deodorant and antiperspirant?

Deodorant stops you smelling. Antiperspirant stops you sweating (and smelling). Some days you might want deo, and other days you might prefer antiperspirant. It all depends on how sweaty you’re going to be, and what you feel like that morning!

Is antiperspirant safe?

Aluminium salts are a common and well researched way of controlling sweat. In fact, almost all effective antiperspirants will contain this active ingredient. Our unique formula contains a form of aluminium that is effective in very low quantities, meaning more space for the good stuff.
