Refillable personal care without waste

Wild

Most personal care comes wrapped in plastic, which never truly disappears. It hangs around for thousands of years, before breaking down into microplastics, accumulating in our oceans, soils, and um..even us? Not ideal.

So we thought, there’s got to be a better way to do our morning routines.

Our refills leave nothing behind

So, we created packaging (in the form of bottles and casings) that is compostable. The idea is that they biodegrade or break down wherever they end up. They do their job, and then they disappear.

Our two kinds of refill.

Solid Refills

We use these for our Stick Deodorant and Lip Balm

✅100% plastic-free
✅Made from plant fibres
✅Home compostable
✅Recyclable with paper

Bamboo is known to grow up to 50 cm a day

Made from bamboo

We use bamboo to make our refill casing because it grows fast. Really fast. Unlike traditional paper (which relies on slow-growing trees), bamboo regenerates quickly, making it a more renewable option. We turn it into a paper-like material that wraps your refill, simple as that.

Liquid Refills

Used for body wash, hand wash and roll-ons.

✅Made from microbes
✅Conventional plastic-free
✅Home compostable

The refill can biodegrade in compost, landfill, and oceans.

Is it plastic?

No - even if it looks like it. Traditional plastic is made from fossil fuels and sticks around for hundreds of years. Our liquid refills are made using a natural fermentation process instead which forms a natural polymer. Think of it like making sourdough or kombucha.

We love that they look and feel as sturdy as plastic, but break down entirely once in the right conditions. They’ll be stable in your bathroom, but once you put them into the compost (or a bin) they start to break down.

A small switch that adds up

Since 2020, we’ve diverted over 933,000 kg of single-use plastic from landfill. We’ve made it our mission to fill bathrooms with refillable things and reduce the amount of bottles we are throwing away. It’s a little change to your daily routine with a seriously big impact.
